About Us

Alef is a webzine devoted to the creative exploration of Jewish identity among young adults. Alef serves as a space in which members of the Birthright generation can tell their stories, engage in conversations, and help evolve our understanding of what it means to be young and Jewish today. We showcase personal memoirs and narratives, resources for Jewish learning, interviews, discussions around current and Jewish lifecycle events, featured content, and more. Alef is a project of Birthright Israel NEXT.
