Send Us Your Bar/Bat Mitzvah Photos!

On May 3rd, in honor of our 13th Issue, Alef is getting into the Bar Mitzvah mood.

Since no Bar Mitzvah celebration would be complete without cheesy photos of girls in poofy dresses, boys in over-sized suits, stoic grandmothers looking off camera, and dad pretending not to be uncomfortable when one of the dancers pulls him onto the floor, we thought we’d ask you, our lovely readers, for some of your Bar/Bat Mitzvah photos and memories.

Send all your submissions to alef@birthrightisraelnext.org and be sure to include a short caption describing  your day, or what was going through your mind in the moment of that snapshot (feel free to get creative!). Also include your name if you don’t mind us mentioning it. We’ll choose the best photos and run them during the issue.
